AGCO TRAINING – MANUFACTURER-LED PRODUCT TRAINING

The Stoneleigh-based Training Centre is a manufacturer-owned facility, offering product and skills-based training on a wide range of agricultural machinery, marketed under the AGCO brands in the UK and Ireland.

The Training Centre provides a centre of excellence where both AGCO Dealer Technicians and Apprentices have the opportunity to access industry-leading manufacturer-led technical training.

Manager, Aftersales Training UK & Ireland

Charlie Rollason

Charlie is responsible for the delivery of all aftersales training programmes across the UK and Ireland and manages the AGCO Training Centre and training department at Stoneleigh.

With over 35 years of experience in the agricultural industry, Charlie brings expertise from a wide range of roles, from Apprentice Technician, Workshop Technician and Business owner/director to Sales Manager and Depot Manager at one of the largest agricultural dealerships in the UK.

Aftersales Training Business Development Manager

Ashley Briggs

Ashley’s key responsibilities are the advertising and marketing of the training centre, the development of key digital systems and the day-to-day running of the AGCO Apprenticeship Scheme, liaising with our affiliated college training partners to ensure that the scheme stays at the forefront of our ever-changing industry

With over 20 years of experience in the wider automotive sector, Ashley worked as a technician within the heavy commercial and waste sectors before becoming a Technical Training Instructor in the automotive industry where he delivered training on Peugeot and Citroen products and assisted in the development of an advanced electrics training programme.

Senior Aftersales Training Specialist

Nick Armstrong

As Senior Aftersales Training Specialist, Nick is not only the UK & Ireland Valtra training specialist, but he is also responsible for the day-to-day running of training courses, ensuring that all trainers are delivering the correct courses and that courses are set up according to the training calendar.

Throughout his career, Nick has gained training delivery experience from the military, Ford Automotive and more recently, as the Manager of a college Land Based Apprenticeship Scheme where he delivered training and managed a team of lecturers teaching land-based engineering courses.

Aftersales Training Specialist

Andrew Duguid

Andrew is a skilled technical trainer, he holds a range of teaching qualifications and acts as the UK & Ireland Fendt training specialist. Similarly to Nick, Andrew spent some time in the military as a Technician and continued to work as a Technical Training Instructor for the defence sector.

In his most recent role, Andrew delivered technical training within the Automotive sector to both experienced technicians and apprentices and brought a wealth of experience to AGCO.

Aftersales Training Specialist

Luke Waldram

Luke joined the AGCO Aftersales Training team in July 2024 after graduating from Harper Adams University with a Master’s Degree in Engineering.

Luke is relatively new to training; however, he brings a new set of experiences to the team which he has gained from both his master’s degree and from 8 years spent working in the agricultural industry, including driving, maintaining and repairing a range of different machinery from varying brands. As the UK & Ireland Massey Ferguson training specialist, Luke’s main responsibilities are to provide not only Massey Furguson brand-specific training but also vehicle electrics, hydraulics and vehicle operation training as well.

The apprenticeship scheme, in partnership with Moreton Morrell (WCG), Llysfasi (Cambria), SRUC Barony (SRUC) and Riseholme College (Bishop Burton), will be the starting point for our highly respected and sought after agricultural engineers in the sector.
